Child & Adolescent Therapy is a supportive, age-appropriate space where children and teens can express their feelings, understand their experiences, and learn healthier ways to cope. It focuses on emotional well-being, behavior, school or social challenges, and family dynamics in a gentle, safe environment.
- Helps manage anxiety, low mood, anger, or emotional outbursts.
- Supports focus, behaviour, and adjustment at home or in school.
- Builds confidence, communication skills, and healthy coping tools.
- Creates a safe space to process bullying, family changes, loss, or stress.
- Children or teens who seem withdrawn, sad, fearful, or overly irritable.
- Those facing bullying, academic pressure, friendship issues, or behavior changes.
- Young people coping with separation, divorce, relocation, grief, or trauma.
- Any child or adolescent who could benefit from extra emotional support and guidance.
Sessions are tailored to the child’s age using a mix of conversation, play, art, and simple exercises to help them express what they feel. The therapist may also guide parents or caregivers on how to support the child at home, while maintaining the young person’s privacy and emotional safety.
In each session, the therapist gently explores your current challenges, thoughts, and feelings in a confidential, non-judgmental space. You work together to identify patterns, learn grounding and coping techniques, and create small, realistic steps to feel more stable and hopeful.
NOTE:
- I understand that these therapy sessions are for emotional and relationship well-being and do not replace emergency psychiatric or medical care.
